UAE-based fintech Qashio has introduced Global Pay, a new service letting businesses settle international supplier payments with upfront foreign exchange rates and no fixed transfer fees.

Companies using the service earn Qashio Points on eligible international payments, redeemable across more than 50 travel and hospitality brands including Emirates Skywards, Accor and IHG. Global Pay is built into Qashio's existing spend management platform, adding faster settlements, end-to-end payment tracking, invoice uploads, beneficiary management and downloadable PDF and CSV statements.

Qashio chief executive Armin Moradi explained the thinking behind the launch, saying international payments are a routine part of running any business today, yet historically those payments have earned companies nothing in return. If the money has to move anyway, he argued, there is no reason the business should not get something back on it.

Qashio, which previously ran a corporate card rewards programme and recently expanded into corporate travel services, has also grown its European operations out of Dublin. The launch comes against a backdrop highlighted in the UAE Central Bank's 2025 Financial Stability Report, which recorded roughly AED188.8 billion in outbound remittances during 2025, making the UAE the world's second-largest source of remittances after the United States, a scale that underlines the demand for cheaper, more transparent cross-border payment tools. Global Pay is now available to eligible new and existing Qashio customers.
